What arrives

One email every two weeks, and nothing else. It contains what we have published since the last one, one specific thing worth checking on your next visit, and any change in published guidance, standards or consumer law that affects families using indoor play.

It does not contain venue recommendations, because we make none. It does not contain deals, because we have no commercial relationship with any venue. It does not contain a round up of things you have already seen elsewhere.

Each issue carries one sponsor line. It sits below the editorial content, it is clearly marked as advertising, and it is set in the same size type as everything around it so that it cannot be mistaken for something we have written.

The sponsor has no sight of the editorial content before it goes out, no influence over what is in it, and no ability to request a change to anything on this website. A request to influence guidance ends the arrangement and we would say so publicly.

The rate card

Newsletter rates
PlacementWhat it isTerms
Sponsor lineOne labelled line with one link, in a fixed position below the editorialOne published rate per issue, identical for every advertiser, no volume discount
Anything elseThere is nothing elseNo takeovers, no dedicated sends, no inserts, no list rental, no sponsored editorial

One rate, the same for everyone. The rate is quoted on request rather than printed, because a printed figure ages badly. What is published and fixed is the structure: one placement, one rate, no discount, no second tier.

What a sponsor cannot do

The full list is on the criteria and rates page and it applies here in the same terms. A sponsor cannot appear in an article, cannot influence any safety guidance, cannot be described as safe or recommended, and cannot buy a position other than the one fixed position that exists.

Your address

We use your email address to send you the newsletter and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, share it or use it to profile you. There is an unsubscribe link in every issue and it works immediately. The privacy page sets out the detail, and the Information Commissioner’s Office publishes guidance on what you are entitled to expect.

The fortnightly note

One email every two weeks. What we have published, one thing worth checking on your next visit, and any change in guidance or consumer law that affects families. It carries a clearly labelled sponsor line and that sponsor cannot influence a word of the safety guidance.

We use your address for the newsletter and nothing else. See privacy and the published rate card.
